Stockery

Hide or push down out-of-stock products, and sort collections by what matters.

What it does

Stop showing sold-out products.

Sold-out products in a store can cost you sales. A customer browses, finds something they like, then discovers it is unavailable. Stockery prevents this by automatically hiding out-of-stock products — or, if you prefer to keep them visible, pushing them to the bottom of collections instead. You decide the rule. The app runs it.

Sort collections your way.

Stockery can sort any collection by sales, price, inventory level, product title, or publication date — on a schedule you control. Pin featured products to the top so they are never displaced. Use the new-arrivals boost to automatically surface recent additions. Sorting runs daily on the Basic plan, hourly on Professional, and every 15 minutes on Unlimited.

Rules that fit how your store actually works.

Set a stock threshold — hide when inventory falls below 5 units, for instance. Target specific inventory locations, sales channels, or Shopify Markets with different rules. When a product is hidden, Stockery optionally redirects its URL to a collection page, avoiding 404 errors and preserving SEO value. Products can also be tagged automatically when they are hidden or shown again.

Use cases

A store where bestsellers sell out frequently.

Set a hide automation so sold-out products disappear immediately rather than frustrating customers who find something unavailable at checkout.

A merchant selling on multiple Shopify Markets.

Create per-market rules: a product can be hidden in one region where it is out of stock while remaining visible in others where inventory is still available.

A collection page that needs constant curation.

Use automatic sorting by sales to keep top performers at the front, pin one or two hero products, and let Stockery handle the rest on a daily or hourly schedule.

A store with a long tail of low-inventory SKUs.

Rather than hiding everything, use push-down to keep products browsable while signalling that higher-stock items appear first — giving customers a better starting point.

What it doesn't do

Stockery is focused on inventory visibility and collection ordering. It does not manage purchase orders, replenishment, multi-warehouse transfers, or forecasting. It does not touch pricing. If you need to bulk-edit prices, that is what Bulk Price Editor is for.
